KhPI opened an Innovation Campus for training IT specialists
On January 27, 2022, the opening of a modern cluster for the implementation of the unique educational program of NTU “KhPI” — Innovation Campus took place. This is the first project in Ukraine on the basis of ZVO, which combines IT training, business school and co-working. It is carried out jointly by the Rector of NTU “KhPI” Evgeny Sokol and the founder of the UFuture holding and UNIT.City innovation parks in Kyiv and Kharkiv, the chairman of the KhPI Supervisory Board Vasyl Khmelnytskyi. In the new building, 300 students can study at the same time, the total area of the two-story building is more than 2,700 square meters.
The event brought together representatives of education, science, business, and the establishment. In particular, the guests were: Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhii Shkarlet, President of the Union of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine Petro Kulikov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Oleg Sinegubov, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, Executive Director of Kharkiv IT Cluster Olga Shapoval.
