Rules of admission to NTU “KhPI” in 2023
Conditions of entry:
- after 11th grade on the basis of full comprehensive secondary education (FCSE);
- after college, technical school (junior bachelor, junior specialist, professional junior bachelor)
Budget:
- NMT and/or EIE (broad competition), motivation letter ;
- NMT or individual oral interview (for special admission conditions, including quota -1 (10%) quota-2 (40%), motivation letter.
Contract:
- NMT and/or EIE , motivation letter ;
- Individual oral interview (only for special admission conditions).
COMPETITION SCORE CALCULATION
Competition score (by NMT) = (0.35×P1 + 0.4×P2 + K3×P3) / (0.35+0.4 +K3) × 1.07,
where P1, P2, P3 – points from the first, second and third subjects on a scale from 100 to 200 (for NMT subjects it is the Ukrainian language, mathematics and history of Ukraine, respectively. You can replace the NMT subject with an external examination if the difference between the NMT and external examination scores for the relevant subject does not exceed 15 points);
K3 is a weighting factor that is 0.25 (for History and Foreign Language) or 0.2 (for Biology, Physics or Chemistry).
Competitive score (for the 2020-2021 external examinations) = (0.5 × P1 + 0.2 × P2 + 0.2 × P3) / 0.9 × 1.07,
where P1, P2, P3 – grades from the first (Ukrainian language and literature), second (Mathematics) and third (History of Ukraine / Geography / Foreign language / Physics / Chemistry / Biology) subjects.
