On November 23, Prof. Dr. Markus Scholz, professor at the International Institute of Zittau (IHI Zittau) of the Technical University of Dresden, gave a guest lecture for students of the Department of Management of NTU “KPI” on the topic “Going beyond the win-win case for sustainability”.
During the lecture, the participants discussed current issues of strategic management of sustainable development and analyzed sustainable changes and innovations. The lecture also addressed such issues as companies and human rights, political commitments, and political responsibility of companies, especially in the context of cultural, environmental, and technological changes in society.
Prof. Scholz emphasized that human rights and corporate ethics are becoming key for manufacturing and service companies. Ensuring the rights of employees and other stakeholders is becoming part of the management strategy.
We express our sincere gratitude for the fascinating lecture! Our students gained knowledge of new insights and ideas that will undoubtedly contribute to their future professional development.
