Art Lectures
We are glad to inform you that the ART KHPI Gallery is launching a new season of art history lectures.
This time our famous art critic Oleg Koval will tell about the origin, evolution and character of the Aegean art development. The lecturer will reveal the peculiarities of plastic thinking of the masters of the time, as well as show how this art resonates with our times.
Particular attention will be given to Cycladic sculpture and paintings by the Knossos Palace.
We are very much looking forward to seeing you on Thursday, September 26th!
Venue: Palace of Students of NTU "KPI", audience № 5 (79/1 Pushkinskaya St.)
Further lectures will be held every Wednesday at 18:00.
Book presentation of the professor of the department Mykhaylo Krasikov “The Student of Grass”
The presentation of the book of poet, folklorist, literary critic, professor of the Department of Ukrainian Studies, Cultural Studies and History of Science of NTU "KPI" Mykhaylo Krasikov took place on September 19, 2019. It has become the sixth book of the author and is entitled "The Student of the Grass." The poetic event, dedicated to the anniversary of Mykhaylo Krasikov, was held at the Scientific and Technical Library of NTU "KPI". Among the participants are teachers, students of the Polytechnic, other guests.

Our master classes in the school “Modern pedagogical technologies in education”
Teachers of the Department of Ukrainian Studies of Culturology and History of Science conducted classes for their colleagues at the XVI International School-Seminar "Modern Pedagogical Technologies in Education" on February 1, 2019.
Associate Professor Svetlana Sergiyivna Telukha and Eugenia Konstantinivna Shishkina organized a workshop "Didactic capabilities of multimedia learning tools", sharing their own experience. Presentation is available on the link.

XXII Ukrainian Students’ Scientific and Practical Conference “Ukraine: History, Culture, Memory”
Іn December 2018, the XXII Ukrainian Students' Scientific and Practical Conference "Ukraine: History, Culture, Memory" was held on the basis of the Department of History of the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute".
3 students of NTU "KhPI" participated in the conference, the delegation was headed by associate professor I. V. Dvorkin. The scientific management of the reports was carried out by the Department of Ukrainian Studies, Cultural Studies and the History of Science. The report of the student of the educational-scientific engineering-physical institute Ruslan Zamorin was devoted to the influence of the Zaporozhian Cossacks on the development of the Don Cossacks. Student of the Faculty of Computer Science and Software Engineering Khritina Bassenko made a report "The Second World War by the eyes of the child", which is built on an interview with her grandmother. Anna Kochura (KH Faculty) highlighted in her report the lives of the inhabitants of the village during the "stagnation" period. Students received their certificates.
