A Memorandum of Cooperation was recently signed between NTU “KhPI” and the official Toyota Motor Corporation dealership in Kharkiv – LLC “ARTSITY”. The document launches systematic interaction in the training of automotive engineers: updating educational programs, involving the company’s specialists in the educational process and implementing joint research and engineering projects. Seven leading departments of the university are participating in the project. Students will have the opportunity to undergo internships on a modern technical base and subsequently find employment at the enterprise. The agreement was signed by the acting rector of KhPI Yevgeny Sokol and the director of LLC “ARTSITY” Anton Podryadchykov.
NTU “KhPI” has taken another step towards the formation of a modern engineering environment where education, science and real production work together. The university and the official Toyota Motor Corporation dealership in Kharkiv – LLC “ARTSITY” have signed a memorandum of cooperation. This is not a formal agreement, but a practical interaction between a higher education institution and a modern automotive complex with a car dealership, service center and technical base operating according to international standards of Toyota Motor Corporation. This cooperation is focused on training engineers for real tasks of the automotive industry – from diagnostics and service to the implementation of modern technical solutions.
The memorandum provides for internships and internships of students at a modern technical base, participation in master classes and meetings with industry specialists, involvement of company representatives in the educational process and certification, as well as updating educational programs and topics of qualification works in accordance with the current needs of the automotive industry. A special emphasis is placed on the development of joint scientific and technical projects and the possibility of further employment of graduates at LLC “ARTSITY”.
