New Robotics Laboratory Becomes a Hub for Graduate Research

The robotics laboratory at the Department of “Automation and Control in Technical Systems,” which we recently opened and are gradually enhancing, has proven useful not only for students but also for graduate researchers.

Lately, graduate students have been visiting the lab more frequently to work on experimental tasks involving mobile robotic platforms, control systems, and modern electronics. Thanks to fully equipped workstations, tools for assembly and repair, measuring instruments, and a testing ground, young researchers can develop complex algorithms, test the functionality of their solutions, and collect experimental data for their dissertation research.

With these capabilities, the laboratory has already become an important part of the department’s research activities, supporting the development of studies in robotics and automation.
