On March 27, 2026, a career guidance STEM event titled “Holidays with Polytech” was held in the safe space of NTU “KhPI” (building U2). The event brought together more than 80 participants who had the opportunity to engage with interactive STEM stations and gain a closer look at modern technical fields of study.
Representatives of the Departments of Automation and Control in Technical Systems (ACTS) and Automation of Technological Systems and Environmental Monitoring (ATSEM) took part in the event. Through live communication, they presented the G7 specialty “Automation, Computer-Integrated Technologies and Robotics”, highlighting the specifics of the program, current areas of training, and career prospects.
Interactive demonstrations attracted particular interest among participants. Visitors explored a model of a “smart home” system that replicates real automated solutions and had the chance to control small radio-operated wheeled robots, testing their skills through various tasks.
A short quiz was prepared for the most active participants. Those who showed interest in the specialty, successfully answered the questions, and expressed their intention to apply received memorable сувеніри from students—unique 3D-printed figurines.
In addition, participants received stylish and useful gifts from the strategic partner and stakeholder of the G7 educational program — the company “NIX”. The company actively contributes to keeping the educational program aligned with current industry demands, offers elective courses delivered by leading professionals, and provides career opportunities for graduates.
The event took place in a dynamic and friendly atmosphere, promoting STEM education and helping prospective applicants take another step toward making an informed career choice.
