As part of the Science Days – 2026 at the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”, the Educational and Scientific Institute of Chemical Technologies and Engineering held the round table “Development of Modern Scientific Schools of the Departments of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Chemical Technologies and Engineering” on 20 May 2026.
During the event, Professor Olena Fedorenko, Head of the Department of Ceramic, Refractories, Glass and Enamels Technology, presented an overview of the Department’s scientific schools, the main areas of research, and the scientific projects being carried out with the support of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine and through state budget funding.
A presentation by Professor Oksana Borysenko focused on the results of research conducted under the grant of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine within Project 2025.06/0063, “Technology for Manufacturing a Thermally Stable Ceramic Substrate for Bandpass Filters Used in Modern Radio-Controlled Systems.” The presentation highlighted the project’s key research directions, the results achieved, and the prospects for their practical application.
The round table provided an excellent opportunity for participants to become acquainted with the Department’s current research activities, exchange professional experience, and promote scientific achievements. The event confirmed the importance of developing scientific schools, implementing grant-funded research projects, and strengthening the University’s scientific potential.
