Senior lecturer of the Department of Computer Modeling of Processes and Systems Dmytro Karaman held a career guidance meeting with students of Okhtyrka Secondary School No. 2. The event was dedicated to modern IT trends and opportunities for studying computer science and robotics 🚀💻
During the meeting, students were told about the F3 “Computer Science” specialty and the educational program “Computer Science. Modeling, Design, and Computer Graphics,” which combines programming, mathematical modeling, and modern computer graphics tools 📊
Special attention was paid to the interdisciplinary specialty “F3 + G7 Computer Science + Automation, Computer-Integrated Technologies and Robotics” and the educational program “Intelligent Cyber-Physical and Robotic Systems.” Students learned how IT, engineering, and artificial intelligence are combined and where this knowledge is applied in practice — from smart devices to robotic systems.
The students’ projects and work were also demonstrated, along with examples of real-life tasks they work on during their studies, and the benefits of studying, employment prospects, and participation in interesting scientific and applied projects were discussed.
We thank the schoolchildren for their enthusiasm and interesting questions! We wish them confidence in choosing their future profession and look forward to seeing them among our students.
