The anniversary events became not only an occasion to reflect on past achievements, but also an opportunity to highlight the university’s current successes. On October 25, the E-Institute hosted a ceremonial event during which the institute’s administration, led by Director Roman Tomashevskyi, recognized students for outstanding academic performance, research activity, community involvement, and sports achievements.
Among the awardees were students of the Department of Electric Transport and Diesel Locomotive Engineering: Oleksandr Bartol — for notable sports achievements, and Bohdan Zinkevych — for research activity. We congratulate our students and wish them continued success in their endeavors.
In his address on the occasion of the 140th anniversary, NTU “KhPI” Rector Yevhen Sokol emphasized:
“Polytech lives and works, fights and prevails. Despite the challenges of wartime, the university continues to achieve victories in international competitions, reaffirming its high standing…”
These words clearly reflect the context in which the university and its departments live and develop today.
