On October 3, 2026, the Department of Electric Transport and Locomotive Engineering of NTU “KhPI” actively participated in a career guidance event for students of Kharkiv Lyceum No. 82. The event was held in the format of interactive STEM stations at an underground school.
⚡ A highlight of the department’s presentation was two interactive Kahoot! quizzes, in which two groups of school students took part, with 20 and 27 participants respectively.
🚄 During these exciting intellectual competitions, participants tested their knowledge of railway and electric transport, learned about the operating principles of locomotives, electric trains, and modern transport systems. This format provided an opportunity not only to discover new things but also to demonstrate quick thinking, problem-solving skills, and team spirit.
🎓 The department representatives introduced the following academic programmes:
- G3 Electrical Engineering — specialization in Electromechanics (Electric Transport);
- J7 Railway Transport — specializations in Locomotives and Locomotive Maintenance and Railway Transport Logistics.
💡 The event was a great opportunity to show school students that engineering is about much more than formulas and technical drawings. It is also about cutting-edge technologies, engaging hands-on challenges, intellectual competitions, and careers that will shape the future of Ukraine’s transport system.
