On October 30, 2026, the Department of Electric Transport and Locomotive Engineering of NTU “KhPI” took part in the career guidance event “Autumn Holidays with the Polytechnic”, which brought together school students interested in modern technology, science, and engineering.
Throughout the day, participants had the opportunity to explore the world of electric and railway transport, learn more about locomotives, electric trains, and the operating principles of transport systems.
Interactive activities and the opportunity to test their knowledge through games proved particularly engaging. After all, discovering a future profession can be not only educational but also exciting!
And since the event took place on the eve of Halloween, it was filled with a special autumn atmosphere, good spirits, and festive excitement. Even the world of engineering had room for fun and pleasant surprises!
Department representatives introduced the students to the following academic programmes:
- G3 Electrical Engineering — specialization in Electromechanics (Electric Transport);
- J7 Railway Transport — specializations in Locomotives and Locomotive Maintenance and Railway Transport Logistics.
Events like this help prospective students discover the world of technical professions, explore the opportunities offered by engineering education, and take their first steps towards choosing a future career.
