Kharkiv continues to demonstrate its resilience and strong ties with its European partners! Representatives from our Department of Intelligent Computer Systems attended a festive event dedicated to the French Republic’s national holiday — Bastille Day — which was celebrated in our city for the third year running in a vibrant and atmospheric manner. 🇺🇦🤝🇫🇷
The highlight of the evening was a spectacular concert featuring the symphony orchestra of the M. V. Lysenko Kharkiv National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre (SKHID OPERA), conducted by the talented French conductor Samuel Cuffignal. Classical music and French charm created an incredible atmosphere of unity!
The event brought together leaders, diplomats and cultural figures who support international dialogue:
Official representatives: the event was attended by the Mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Ukraine, Gaël Vésier.
Guests of honour: delegates from French organisations, the city’s cultural elite and active members of the public joined the celebrations.
For the lecturers in our department, taking part in such events is not only a source of inspiration but also a significant part of developing international and cultural ties. French culture and language will always hold a special place in the hearts of our team! 🌍💎
