Trust box
«Trust box» – s a convenient and safe feedback tool that allows students, teachers and other participants in the educational process to report problematic situations, violations or provide suggestions for improving the educational environment.
The service functions to ensure openness, transparency and compliance with the principles of academic integrity at KhPI National Technical University.
When should you apply?
You can report about:
- violation of academic integrity;
- bullying, discrimination, unethical behavior;
- manifestations of corruption;
- proposals for improving the quality of education.
Privacy and Anonymity
Appeals through the “Trust Box” can be:
- anonymous – without specifying personal data;
- personalized – with the possibility to receive feedback.
All appeals are considered in accordance with the principles:
- privacy;
- impartiality;
- objectivity;
- protection of the applicant’s rights.

ELECTRONIC TRUST BOX (ICM)
In addition to the ICM trust box of the institute (information will be provided anonymously to the ICM directorate, the director and deputy directors), you can also use the trust box at the university level, which functions on the basis of the department of quality assurance of education of NTU KhPI
Recommendations for filling
For a more effective consideration of the appeal, it is recommended:
- clearly describe the situation;
- specify the date, place and participants of the event (if possible);
- add supporting materials (if any – for this, a link to the electronic location of such documents should be added to the message);
- leave contact details (optional to receive a reply).
“Trust box” is an important element of the system of ensuring academic integrity and maintaining a safe academic environment at NTU “KhPI”.
Each appeal is important and contributes to the improvement of the educational process and the ethics of research and expert activity.
We draw attention to the fact that anonymous appeals or complaints do not involve mandatory official actions – and serve more as a reason to draw the attention of the administration. A guaranteed response to reports of an offense, improper actions or a complaint will be implemented if an individual makes an official, non-anonymous appeal in writing (a letter to the office of NTU KhPI (Kharkov, 61002, 2 Kiripychova St.), an e-mail to the office of NTU KhPI (omsroot@kpi.kharkov.ua ) or the institute’s directorate (office.infiz@khpi.edu.ua )
