General principles of academic ethics
In the Educational and Scientific Institute of Computer Modeling, Applied Physics and Mathematics of NTU “KhPI”, academic ethics is an integral part of the educational process and is based on the principles of:
- integrity and responsibility;
- mutual respect and equality;
- non-discrimination and tolerance;
- transparency and fairness in assessment;
- prevention of corruption.
Policy, rules and procedures for conflict resolution are regulated
Code of ethics of academic relations and integrity of NTU “KhPI”.
Settlement of conflict situations
All participants in the educational process have the right to protect their rights and interests in the event of conflict situations.
According to the university’s internal regulatory documents:
- The procedure for considering complaints of education seekers at NTU “KhPI”;
- The procedure for submitting and considering statements about cases of bullying (harassment), as well as responding to proven cases of bullying.
the student of education has the right to apply to the university administration with a statement or complaint regarding:
- conflicts with teachers or other students of education;
- cases of discrimination;
- bullying;
- sexual harassment;
- violation of academic integrity;
- other violations of the rights of participants in the educational process.
All appeals are subject to mandatory consideration. The facts are checked by the authorized bodies of the university, after which a decision is made in accordance with the current legal framework.
Psychological support and protection
A socio-psychological service operates at NTU “KhPI”, which provides:
- consulting assistance to education seekers;
- support in cases of conflicts;
- help in situations related to discrimination or sexual harassment;
- promoting the formation of a safe educational environment.
Contacting the service is confidential.
Anti-corruption policy
The university implements a systemic policy of prevention and counteraction to corruption in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.

In NTU “KhPI”:
- the university has an anti-corruption program;
- a plan of measures to prevent corruption was developed;
- mechanisms for increasing responsibility for offenses in the field of education are being implemented.
The Commissioner for Prevention and Detection of Corruption is:
SERHII KOSHEL, assistant to the rector of NTU “KhPI”, responsible for the implementation of the anti-corruption program in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Prevention of Corruption”.

Students can report violations of academic ethics or other problematic situations:
- through an official appeal to the university administration;
- through the complaints procedure defined;
- and also anonymously – through the electronic “trust box”.
