Educational and Research Program (ERP) for Training Doctors of Philosophy (PhD) in Specialty F1 – Applied Mathematics
PhD training is carried out within the postgraduate program at NTU “KhPI”. The educational and research program is aimed at preparing researchers and qualified specialists with in-depth knowledge in the fields of intelligent data analysis, applied mathematics, and the use of modern information technologies.
PhD candidates develop skills in conducting independent scientific research, creating new mathematical models and algorithms, and applying them in deep learning, machine learning, and intelligent data analysis across various fields.
Program Highlights:
Scientific research in intelligent data analysis, pattern recognition, signal and image processing
Development of mathematical models, machine and deep learning algorithms for prediction and decision-making
Creation of information technologies for processing and analyzing large datasets using cloud and distributed computing
Pedagogical and research-organizational training for working in research teams and higher education institutions
Interdisciplinary research – combining applied mathematics, computer science, engineering, and data analysis to solve complex scientific and practical tasks
Cybersecurity and data protection – applying mathematical methods to study and ensure information security in big data environments
Graduates of the program successfully pursue careers in research institutions, IT companies, financial and analytical organizations. They develop software, conduct data analysis, work as systems analysts, statisticians, and university lecturers, and lead scientific and interdisciplinary projects in Ukraine and abroad.
