Elective Courses

The list of components  of the educational professional program (EPP) “Intelligent Data Analysis” of the First (Bachelor’s) Level of Higher Education in Specialty F1-Applied mathematics provides for a block of general preparation and professional training courses  for selection.

General preparation courses , which belong to the cycle of socio-humanitarian preparation, are chosen by the student from the list of available university-wide courses  before the start of the academic year.

Professional training courses , which belong to the cycle of professional and practical preparation, are chosen by the student from the list of department and institute courses , including courses  from related specialties. Elective components for professional training appear in the plan starting from the second year of study. The list of available professional training courses  is updated annually.

Students of the Department of Computer Mathematics and Data Analysis exercise their right to choose educational components during the spring semester preceding the academic year in which their study is planned.

ATTENTION: Only 2nd-year students of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education in specialty F1-Applied mathematics can undergo the selection process.

Profiled package of courses  – a set of logically and functionally related courses , which includes professional training courses  that determine the specialized preparation of the student within the chosen educational professional program, are necessary for fulfilling program requirements, ensuring special (professional training) competencies, and are aimed at improving the student’s employability in their chosen specialty.
