Polish professor will teach a course on digital business to students of the Department of Management

The Department of Management of the ESI EMMB continues the practice of involving professors from European universities in giving lecture courses on a volunteer basis. This year, Sebastian Bakalarczyk, Professor of Łódź University of Technology (TUL, Politechnika Łódzka), got the status of an adjunct professor at NTU “KhPI”, to teach the course Digital Business Design and Management for Industry 4.0.

Łódź University of Technology is one of the largest and most prestigious technical institutions of higher education in Poland, founded in 1945.

Teaching will be conducted in English, remotely, integrated with the courses “Business Modeling” (lecturer Olena Prokhorenko, Professor of the Department of Management) and “Management of Organizations” (lecturer Pavlo Brin, Professor of the Department of Management.

The initiative of the TUL Professor was preceded by international contacts of the teachers of the Department of Management, their participation in the BIP (Blended Intensive Program), joint publications and academic mobility of students of the department.

This is not the first experience for the department: last year,  professors Klaus Krumme, University of Duisburg-Essen (Germany) and Jan-Hendrik Kamlage, Ruhr University in Bochum (Germany) were involved in teaching courses on a volunteer basis. This practice indicates the high recognition of our programs and our university by foreign partners.
