Professor of the Department of Higher Mathematics Tetiana Shmatko took an active part in the 4th International Nonlinear Dynamics Conference NODYCON 2025, which took place from June 22 to 25, 2025 at the Stevens Institute of Technology (New Jersey, USA). This conference is a significant scientific event in the field of structural dynamics and engineering mechanics, founded by Professor Ali H. Naifeh in 1986.
It brings together leading scientists from all over the world who study stability, dynamics, and innovative approaches to structural modeling. Tetyana Shmatko made a presentation on “Analysis of nonlinear free vibrations of sandwich honeycomb plates with a complex shape”, in which she described in detail the use of the theory of R-functions to study thin-walled structures made of metamaterials. Tetiana Shmatko was also a presenter of several sections of the conference.
Participation in the NODYCON 2025 conference was made possible by the fact that Tetiana Shmatko is the responsible executor of the NATO project G6176 “Composite Metals for Aerospace Structures – CoMetA” of the Science for Peace and Security (SPS) program as part of the NTU “KhPI” research team together with Professors Kurpa L.V. and Mikhlin Y.V.
