HIGHER MATHEMATICS

ANNOTATION
The discipline ‘Higher mathematics’ is aimed at forming students’ theoretical knowledge and developing practical skills in the use of mathematical apparatus, which helps to analyze and model various processes with the use, if necessary, of information and communication technologies.
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Theoretical and practical training of engineers of specialties regarding the assimilation of modern mathematical methods that provide an opportunity to analyze and model technical devices, processes and phenomena, development of skills in mathematical research of applied problems, construction of mathematical models and formation of mathematical knowledge for mastering other disciplines of the mathematical cycle, development of the ability to independently deepen mathematical knowledge and implement it.

Lectures, practical classes, consultations. Individual calculation task. Final control – exam.

SYSTEM AND MATHEMATICAL ANALYSIS

ANNOTATION
The discipline ‘System and Mathematical Analysis’ is aimed at the formation of theoretical knowledge and the acquisition of practical skills in the use of mathematical apparatus in the modeling and analysis of various processes and phenomena of a probabilistic or statistical nature.
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
To provide students with the appropriate conceptual and mathematical apparatus necessary for a much deeper and clearer understanding of many physical laws and relationships that have a probabilistic or statistical nature; to form in them the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for solving problems in which there are elements of chance, as well as for processing the results of experiments.
FORMAT OF CLASSES
Lectures, practical classes, consultations. Individual calculation task. Final control – exam.
