Колективні форми освіти
Game-based design (GBD) is one of the collective forms of education. It is conducted in the form of a business game, being its first stage (there is no stage of simulation modeling of the project or plan developed at the first stage). It is intended to intensify design teaching in technical educational institutions, design in a broad sense – in any educational institution. In terms of academic goals, IP is designed to:
- education of students in conditions of collective, close to professional activity: instilling a sense of duty to the team, finding ways to resolve conflicts and disagreements in the team, instilling a sense of collectivism and focus on solving the tasks facing the team, etc.;
- preparing students to work in a production team: business, organizational, communicative, coordinated, active, interdisciplinary, projective, disciplined, etc;
- development of a finished product or process (turbine, engine, pump, device, technological process, etc;)
- Development of pupils’ creative abilities based on their natural inclinations.
The development team simulates the activities of design or technological departments in a competitive environment, with the results summarised at technical council meetings (competitive defenses) or presentations. The Individual work of students is naturally combined with collective work and is taken into account through the system of self-assessment of work results. IP is used in specialties whose graduates are intended for collective rather than individual work.
