One of the strong competitive advantages of the SEMIT Department is its strong language training, as it is extremely important for a modern IT specialist to know English at B2 level and higher. In order to teach classes in groups with English as the language of training, as well as to provide all students with up-to-date knowledge using professional terminology, the Department’s lecturers are constantly improving their own level of English.
Head of the Department Andrii Kopp, professors Yekaterina Yahup and Dmytro Orlovskyi took part in the English for IT program from Kharkiv IT Cluster together with Englishdom.
The course program is aimed at improving the language skills necessary to communicate with colleagues in English on professional topics.
