Congratulations to Hanna Ippolitova, an 11th grade student of the Kharkiv Lyceum №162 of the Kharkiv City Council, and her supervisor, Associate Professor of the SEMIT Department of NTU “KhPI” Chernova Natalia Leonidivna, on winning the second place in the second stage of the All-Ukrainian competition for the defense of research works by student-members of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences in the academic year 2023/2024.
Under the supervision by Nataliia Leonidivna and her Computer Science teacher Vita Mykolaivna Demenko, Hanna defended her work on “Development of the computer game “KNIGHT’S RAID” for Windows OS developed on Python” at the Scientific Branch of Information Technologies in the section “Educational, Gaming Programs and Virtual Reality” and received a second degree diploma.
In the future, the active teachers of the department plan to launch an educational project for schoolchildren to develop game applications. Such projects help to intensify career guidance work with talented students and help them to get involved in scientific work while still learning at school.
