SAFe-approach to IT project management: open and practical!

On April 17, 2025, our Master’s students had the opportunity to join an open lecture on modern approaches to IT project management using the SAFe methodology (Scaled Agile Framework).

The speaker was Ivan Nesterenko, Senior Project Manager at Ascendix Technologies and a graduate of our department (bachelor’s degree – 2014, master’s degree – 2016, specialty “Software Engineering”).

During the lecture, we discussed

– how to implement SAFe in large projects;
– practical examples of Agile scaling;
– challenges and solutions in real cases from the IT industry.
