Security applies even to the smartphones in our hands!

On October 23, the Poltava Polytechnic College of the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” hosted a seminar entitled “Cybersecurity for Students: Current Challenges and Responses,” dedicated to pressing threats in the digital environment.

Maxim Myronyuk, a representative of the A.V. Dabagyan Department of Software Engineering and Management Intelligent Technologies, which is part of the Institute of Computer Sciences and Information Technologies at NTU “KhPI,” a graduate student and Senior Android Engineer, gave a presentation entitled “Your smartphone is your responsibility: What risks do mobile applications hide?”

During the meeting, participants learned how to recognize dangerous applications, avoid personal data leaks, and form safe digital habits.

We would like to thank our colleagues from Poltava for the invitation and interesting discussion! Together, we are shaping a culture of safe use of information technologies among students and future professionals.
