The main stages of pedagogical activity, graduated from Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute in 1994 with a degree in Information-Measuring Devices, qualified as an electrical engineer. Since 1998 have been working at NTU “KhPI”. From 1994 to 1998, studied at the correspondence postgraduate course of the State Research and Production Association (SRPA) “Metrology” (Kharkiv), in 1998, defended his PhD thesis in the specialty 05.11.15 “Metrology and Metrological Maintenance”. Since 2006, worked as an associate professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Industrial Ecology. In 2008, defended his doctoral dissertation in the specialized academic council D 26.102.01 of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design (KNUTD) in the specialty 05.11.13 Devices and methods of control and determination of the composition of substances, since 2009, as a professor of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Industrial Ecology. The academic title of professor was awarded by the certification board of the Ministry of Education and Science in 2011.
Has more than 200 publications, including 180 scientific and 30 educational and methodological, 2 teaching aids and 1 textbook (co-authored), three articles in Scopus.
Supervisor of 3 PhD students, 2 defended successfully.
Prepared two PhDs in the specialty 05.17.08 – processes and equipment of chemical technologies.

Since December 2018, Prof. Sebko V.V. has been the executor of the initiative topic “Methods of measuring control of physical and mechanical parameters of electrically conductive products and liquids”, approved by the decision of the department (protocol No. 7 of 10.12.2018).
