Bosiuk Alona
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), assistant of Department of chemical techniques and industrial ecology, NTU “KhPI”. Author and co-author of more than 10 scientific publications and more than 15 abstracts published in Ukrainian and foreign journals.
The main scientific activity is focused on the intensification of wastewater treatment processes.
Education:
In 2019, she graduated with honors from the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”, majoring in Ecology.
In 2020-2024, she studied in graduate school; in July 2024, she defended her dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the specialty 101 – Ecology, on the topic “Intensification of multicomponent wastewater treatment at machanical-engineering companies due to enhance environmental safety”.
Work experience:
Since 2020, she has been working as an environmental engineer at the Research and Production Enterprise Institute of Environmental Technologies LLC. Her responsibilities included the development and approval of environmental documentation for Ukrainian enterprises.
From 2020 to 2023, she worked as a leading environmental engineer at Kharkiv machinery plant FED limited liability company (KHMP FED LLC). The main area of activity was monitoring compliance with Ukrainian environmental safety legislation.
Since 2024 – assistant of Department of chemical techniques and industrial ecology.
Participated in the international conference European Astronomical Society (EAS) Annual Meeting 2023 (Krakow, Poland) with a presentation on “Stellar insights: an informational and educational platform for advancing astronomy in Kharkiv, Ukraine”.
Also took part in the scientific project “Nuclear power – the way out of Europe’s energy crisis”, a conference held as part of Nuclear Days 2023 at the University of West Bohemia (Pilsen, Czech Republic). The topic of the report was “Green revolution for Europe: nuclear energy as a way to sustainable development and environmental protection”.
