The head of the Strategic Management Department professor Igor Kononenko and the postgraduate student of the Department Anna Kharazii participated in The 7th IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Data Acquisition and Advanced Computing Systems: Technology and Applications (IDAACS’2013) which was held in Berlin, Germany from September 12th to September 14th, 2013. Igor Kononenko and Anna Kharazii made a joint presentation on the subject “Selection method of the project management methodology and its application” at the Conference. This report was reviewed on the second day of the Conference on the section TC2: Special Stream in Project Management. In their report, the authors proposed a method for selecting the most effective methodology for managing a specific project. The authors’ report raised considerable interest among those present at the Conference. The authors answered a number of questions of scientists from Germany, the USA and France.
It should be mentioned that professor Igor Kononenko was appointed the coordinator of the special section on project management at this Conference, and together with professor Peter Reusch, Germany conducted the section meetings. The main speakers at the Conference were Professor Hermann He?ling – the professor of applied informatics at the University of Applied Science (HTW, Berlin); Professor Wolfgang Gentzsch – Executive HPC Consultant at the UberCloud; Professor Sergey Demidenko – Head of the Center of technology, communication and design at RMIT Saigon South. In total, the conference was attended by about 90 experts from 22 countries and about 100 papers were presented. The conference papers covered a wide range of issues in the field of information technology, information management systems, marketing and management.
