Active career guidance work continues regarding the admission of applicants in 2025 to the J4 specialty “Occupational health and safety” educational program “Occupational health and safety”. In the second half of February 2025 assoc. prof. E. Yashcheritsyn together with prof. L. Vaskovets regular distance career guidance events were held with students of Kharkiv Lyceum №64, Kremenchug lyceum №4 (Poltava region). In secondary school I-III degrees №1 Horishni Plavni (Poltava region) and Berestyn lyceum №3 (Berestyn, Kharkiv region) in career guidance events, in addition to the teachers mentioned above, took an active part in sen. teach. L. Yashchenko
In Kharkiv lyceum №64, two remote events were held on February 17 with the active support and assistance of the deputy director for educational work – Halyna Yakyvna Kuzmenko and the class teachers of the 11th grades: Posilaeva Tetyana Volodymyrivna and Svitlichna Iryna Mykolaivna. A total of 41 participants took part in them.
In the Kremenchug lyceum №4 “Kremin” a remote event was held on February 21 with the active support and assistance of the deputy director for educational work Oleksandra Leonidivna Shushpanova, 7 participants took part in the event.
In secondary school I-III degrees №1 Gorishni Plavni remote event was held on February 27 with the active support and assistance of the deputy director for educational work Natalya Petrivna Manko and the class teacher of the 11th grade Drozdyk Nadiya Dmitrivna, 24 students took part in the event.
In the Berestyn lyceum №3, the remote event was held on February 28 with the active support and assistance of the director of the Lyceum, Hryhoriy Mykolayovych Kashuba, his deputy for educational work, Gruzinova Margarita Viktorivna, and the class teacher of the 11th grade, Slabynska Tetyana Viktorivna. 22 students took part in the event.
During all these events assoc. prof. E. Yashcheritsyn told the listeners about NTU “KhPI”, the advantages of studying there, in particular, and the J4 “Occupational health and safety” specialty, various aspects of both last year’s admissions campaign to higher educational institutions, and about the preparation for this year’s, which is already underway. In turn, prof. L. Vaskovets spoke about the prospects for employment and career growth after completing studies in the J4 “Occupational health and safety” specialty.
Speaking before the students, assoc. prof E. Yashcheritsyn organically combined the demonstration of the presentation with information about the specialty and conducting demonstrative measurements with the devices of the educational laboratory of the “Occupational and environmental safety” department of some parameters of harmful and dangerous production factors, namely, temperature – with a Mestek IR01C pyrometer and air speed – with a vane anemometer VTMETER VT-816В.
Important details in career guidance reports were the presentation of sen. teach. L. Yashchenko international relations of the department in the context of the internship of students of the J4 specialty “Occupational health and safety” in European higher educational institutions – the University of West Bohemia (Czech Republic) and the University named after Jan Dlugosha in Częstochowa (Poland).
The mentioned career orientation events aroused great interest among schoolchildren, teachers and the administration of the educational institutions in which they were held, as evidenced by the significant number of questions asked to the speakers.
