Active career guidance work continues for applicants entering the 2025 specialty J4 “Occupational health and safety” educational program “Occupational health and safety”. In March 2025, assoc. prof. E. Yascheritsyn together with prof. L. Vaskovets and senior lec. L. Yashchenko conducted regular distance career guidance events with students of the Kharkiv Vocational College of Transport Technologies, students of Kharkiv Lyceum №90 and Poltava Polytechnic Lyceum. In Kharkiv Lyceum №126, the event was conducted by assoc. prof. E. Yascheritsyn together with prof. L. Vaskovets.
The event was held at the Kharkiv Professional College of Transport Technologies on March 4 with the active support and assistance of the head of the departments of “Transport Technologies” and “Railway Transport” Makogon Tetyana Viktorovna. 16 college students took part in it.
The event was held at Kharkiv Lyceum №90 on March 10 with the help of Iryna Volodymyrivna Parkhomenko, a teacher of the subject “Fundamentals of Health,” and Viktoria Oleksandrivna, a teacher and organizer of the Bunch. 15 students participated in the event.
The event was held at the Poltava Polytechnic Lyceum on March 17 with the active support and assistance of Inna Stanislavivna Reshetchenko, Deputy Director for Educational and Production Work; 6 students participated in it.
The event was held at Kharkiv Lyceum №126 on March 20 with the active support and assistance of the Deputy Director for Educational Work, Larysa Mykolaivna Balala, and was attended by 25 students.
During all these events, assoc. prof. E. Yascheritsyn told the audience about NTU “KhPI”, the advantages of studying there, in particular, in the specialty J4 “Occupational health and safety”, various aspects of both last year’s admission campaign to higher educational institutions, and about the preparation for this year’s, which is already underway. In turn, prof. L. Vaskovets poke about the prospects for employment and career growth after completing studies in the specialty J4 “Occupational health and safety”.
Speaking before the students, assoc. prof E. Yashcheritsyn organically combined the demonstration of the presentation with information about the specialty and conducting demonstrative measurements with the devices of the educational laboratory of the “Occupational and environmental safety” department of some parameters of harmful and dangerous production factors, namely, temperature – with a Mestek IR01C pyrometer and air speed – with a vane anemometer VTMETER VT-816В.
Important details in the career guidance reports were the presentation by sen. lec. L. Yashchenko of the department’s international relations in the context of internships for students of the specialty J4 “Occupational health and safety” in European higher education institutions – the University of West Bohemia (Czech Republic) and the Jan Dlugosz University in Częstochowa (Poland).
The above-mentioned career guidance activities aroused great interest among students, teachers, and administrations of educational institutions in which they were held, as evidenced by the significant number of questions asked to the speakers.
