On May 23, 2026, the Department of Biotechnology, Biophysics and Analytical Chemistry of the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” took part in the large-scale Open Day of NTU “KhPI”, which was held in a hybrid format — both offline and online. Prospective students had the opportunity to become better acquainted with the G21 Educational Program “Biotechnology and Bioengineering”, modern areas of biotechnological research, innovative laboratory developments, and career prospects in the fields of pharmacy, medicine, food technologies, ecology, and bioengineering.
As part of the event, the department presented тематичні STEAM locations, interactive demonstrations, student scientific projects, and modern technological solutions in the fields of biotechnology and analytical chemistry. Faculty members and students of the department provided consultations regarding Admission Campaign 2026, specifics of studying, international academic mobility programs, and opportunities for professional development.
Participants of the event learned more about current trends in biotechnology, the application of biotechnological methods in medical diagnostics, the pharmaceutical industry, and environmental technologies, as well as became acquainted with the educational and scientific environment of the department.
In addition, interactive activities, Kahoot quizzes, competitions, and prize drawings were organized for the guests. The event became an important platform for communication between prospective students and university representatives and clearly demonstrated that, even under challenging conditions, Ukrainian education, science, and student life continue to develop actively.
