Department alumni help renovate their Alma Mater

This year, the Department of Ceramic, Refractory, Glass, and Enamel Technologies at the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” is celebrating a significant milestone — the 100th anniversary of its establishment. In preparation for this anniversary, renovation and refurbishment work is underway to create a modern, comfortable, and functional educational and research environment for students, academic staff, and researchers.

It is especially meaningful that the Department’s alumni have joined the preparations for its 100th anniversary. They continue to maintain strong ties with their Alma Mater and support its development. Thanks to their generosity and substantial assistance, the University has received 300 m² of porcelain stoneware tiles and sanitary ware, with a total value of approximately UAH 90,000.

The donated materials will make an important contribution to the renovation of the Department’s facilities and help create a modern, comfortable, and functional educational environment.

The Department of Ceramic, Refractory, Glass, and Enamel Technologies expresses its sincere and profound gratitude to its alumni:

Roman Panasenko, General Director of PJSC “Geberit Ceramic Production”;

Larysa Tkachuk, Executive Director of PJSC “Geberit Ceramic Production”;

Vitalii Tsovma, New Product Implementation Technologist at PJSC “Epicentr Ceramic Corporation”.

We sincerely thank you for your commitment, support for your home Department, and valuable contribution to its renovation. Your assistance is a vivid example of how the bond between the University and its alumni endures over the years, while the knowledge acquired, professional experience, and shared values unite generations of KhPI graduates.

We would also like to express our special gratitude to Serhii Plokhotiuk, Production Director at PJSC “Epicentr Ceramic Corporation”, for his support and assistance in providing the University with the necessary construction materials.

We extend our particular appreciation to the leadership of the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”, represented by Vice-Rector Magomedemin Hasanov, for organizing the delivery of the donated porcelain stoneware tiles and sanitary ware to Kharkiv from manufacturing facilities located in the Khmelnytskyi and Kyiv regions. Thanks to the well-coordinated organizational efforts, the donated materials were successfully delivered to the University and transferred for further use in the renovation of the Department’s facilities.

The support provided by alumni, partners, and the University leadership is of particular importance for the development of the Department, the preservation of its long-standing traditions, and the creation of a modern educational and research environment. Such joint efforts strengthen the connection between generations, unite the University community, and help us move forward with confidence.

We sincerely thank everyone who supports the Department of Ceramic, Refractory, Glass, and Enamel Technologies and NTU “KhPI”!

Together, we preserve our traditions, renew the present, and create the future!

With sincere gratitude and respect,

The Department of Ceramic, Refractory, Glass, and Enamel Technologies
National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”
