Training of third-level higher education seekers, Doctor of Philosophy degree, is carried out in postgraduate studies in full-time (day, evening) or part-time form of study. Our department provides training of specialists in the specialty F1 “Applied Mathematics” (educational and scientific program “Applied Mathematics”).

During the period of study in postgraduate school, the postgraduate student is required to: fulfill all the requirements of the educational and scientific program, acquire theoretical knowledge, skills, abilities, and other competencies sufficient to generate new ideas and solve complex problems in the field of professional and/or research and innovation activities, master the methodology of scientific and pedagogical activities, conduct their own scientific research, the results of which have scientific novelty, theoretical and/or practical significance, and defend their dissertation.
