🏛️ Historic start: the first conference ‘Intelligent Systems and Applied Linguistics’ took place
On 17 March 2009, the Department of Intelligent Computer Systems at NTU ‘KhPI’ hosted an event that laid the foundation for the scientific activities of young specialists — the First Intra-University Scientific and Practical Conference.
The first conference demonstrated a unique symbiosis of technical thought and linguistic analysis, outlining the main vectors of development of applied linguistics at our university.
📊 Key areas of the pioneers’ reports:
| Bogdan, Doroshenko | Intellectual text processing in machine translation systems |
| Ilkovska | The latest commonly used Anglicisms in the modern Ukrainian language |
| Savostenya | Morphological synthesis of inflected forms of numerals in the Ukrainian language |
| Kovalchuk | The problem of linguistic support for artificial intelligence |

Congratulations to the participants of the first conference on this historic date! You have created a tradition that lives on and continues to grow. 🚀🎓
