From October 7–10, the International Conference on Nanotechnologies and Biomedical Engineering — ICNBME-2025 — was held in Chișinău (Moldova). The event brought together leading experts from around the world, including Hiroshi Amano (Nobel Prize in Physics, Nagoya University, Japan) and James Rothman (Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, Yale School of Medicine).
🧑🏫 Professor of the CMAD Department, O.A. Haluza, chaired one of the scientific sessions of the conference.
🔬 The CMAD Department team, consisting of O.A. Haluza and M.S. Tatariants, presented a paper entitled: “Automated Deep Learning-Based Cell Viability Test for L929 Cells Using Phase-Contrast Microscope Images”.
The study focuses on the application of artificial intelligence for the analysis of microbiological images, in particular the automated assessment of L929 cell viability based on phase-contrast microscopy data.
Participation in the conference was a valuable professional experience for our team. ICNBME is not only about research results, but also about collaboration, staying engaged with current scientific trends, and exchanging ideas with the international scientific community.
