On June 24–25, 2025, working meetings were held between representatives of three technical universities: National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”, Odesa Polytechnic National University, and Dnipro University of Technology. The main topic was the development of academic mobility for students and faculty, the modernization of educational programs, and joint educational and scientific initiatives.
The meetings were attended by lecturers and heads of departments from all three universities. Odesa Polytechnic was represented by three departments: Artificial Intelligence and Data Analysis, Applied Mathematics and Information Technologies, and Integrated Management Technologies. NTU “KhPI” was represented by the departments of Computer Mathematics and Data Analysis and Cybersecurity, while Dnipro University of Technology was represented by the Department of Applied Mathematics.
🎓 Discussion of programs and new mobility formats
Educational programs in specialties F1 and F3 were discussed, including comparisons of curricula, course content, and teaching formats. Opportunities for credit transfer and the implementation of student mobility within Ukrainian higher education institutions were also considered.
Special attention was given to faculty mobility — a format in which lecturers deliver selected topics to students of partner universities within joint courses.
🌟 Next steps
The positive experience of holding Machine Learning Week 2025 during the winter semester became a catalyst for discussing new inter institutional projects and joint student team collaboration.
Such initiatives are aimed at improving the quality of education, advancing scientific research, and creating a flexible educational environment for Ukrainian students.
Together, we are shaping a space for high-quality education that is open to cooperation,
change, and the future.
