To provide training for specialists in the field of applied mathematics who are capable of formulating, solving, and generalizing practical problems in their professional activities using fundamental and specialized methods of mathematical and computer sciences, developing mathematical models, algorithms, creating and operating corresponding software.
The educational program is aimed at preparing professionals who possess modern mathematical methods and information technologies for intelligent data retrieval, analysis, processing, and visualization – including measurement and observation data, texts, signals, and images – for the purposes of knowledge extraction, forecasting, and decision-making.

Teaching and learning Assessment
Lectures, laboratory and practical classes, scientific and practical seminars, implementation of academic and real-world projects (project-based learning), problem-based and inquiry-based learning, student-centered learning, dual education, distance and blended learning using the Office 365 platform, independent work and self-learning, internships, and preparation of the qualification thesis.
Ongoing and final knowledge assessment (oral questioning, tests, individual assignments, etc.), pass/fail assessments and examinations (oral and written), defense of academic and real-world projects with presentations, and public defense of the qualification thesis.
