2. New AI Paradigm («Time to gather stones») – Cross-Cultural Communication and Foreign Languages Department

Need to change AI paradigm is caused by AI exponential development opening both unprecedented opportunities and threats. To identify the trends AI historical analysis is presented in the context of AI goals, methodology, directions and stages of development. A conclusion is made about the need for a new scientific “and/or paradigm” that integrates relevant achievements of AI as a multidisciplinary field focused on the development of AGI based on the synergy of artificial and human intelligence, embodied in the innovative technology of digital hybrid self-development systems. Understanding what is in the «Black box» or «Explainable intelligence» required an initial understanding: the state of the art (Weak AI), the goal (Strong AI / AGI) and threats (Superintelligence); the intelligence typology (practical-scientific-existential); the modes of AI use as a tool for scientific knowledge; the introduction of the human dimension into computation (AI humanization) and multidisciplinarity.
