Project within HORIZON TOPIC ID: CREA-CULT-2023-COOP-UA.
The objective is to help Ukrainian displaced people, in particular children, in Ukraine or Creative Europe Participating countries, have access to culture and/or facilitate their reciprocal integration into their new communities through culture. Thus, the objective neatly falls into two separate categories: culture access and reciprocal cultural integration.
In order to properly address the wide-ranging scope of this sub-objective, our ambitious project includes a dedicated work package for culture access (‘Intercultural Exchange: UA-EU Cultural Access Events, East and West’). These events are carefully calibrated to include virtually all aspects of Ukrainian and European culture, and encompass the Performing Arts (drama, acting, dancing and singing, etc.) and Visual Arts (painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, etc.). In terms of impact, these are designed to relieve individual personal war trauma, heal PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) and build up the collective cultural resilience of the Ukrainian people.
To effectively cater to this sub-objective, our project incorporates four separate clearly-focused and geographically-segmented FSTP work packages, with each being managed by a well-respected and fully-experienced organization from the region.
