Representing the Department of Management at NTU KhPI, associate professors Natalia Shyriaieva and Iryna Sitak participated in the two-day international seminar, “Due Diligence in Europe and Beyond: Practices, Liability, and Legal Developments,” organized by Prof. Marco Mocella, Full Professor of Labor Law at Universitas Mercatorum. The seminar focused on recent developments related to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), corporate accountability, human rights, labor protection, and responsible supply chain governance.
During the mobility, our department representatives had the pleasure of meeting Francesco Picariello, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Electric and Electronic Measurement, to discuss opportunities for academic cooperation, including interdisciplinary collaboration between our departments. They also met Prof. Giovanni Cannata, Rector of Universitas Mercatorum, Prof. Barbara Martini, Director of the Department of Engineering and Sciences, and their colleagues from the department.
We sincerely thank our colleagues at Universitas Mercatorum for their warm welcome, openness, and hospitality. The visit coincided with the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul, the patrons of Rome. Experiencing the city’s festive atmosphere and the spectacular fireworks made this Erasmus+ mobility even more memorable. We look forward to continuing our collaboration!
