As part of the career guidance work for the admission of applicants in the coming year 2025 to the specialty 263 “Civil security” educational program “Occupational safety and health” on October 9, 2024 with schoolchildren of the 10th and 11th grades of the Mazhar Lyceum of the Kegychiv Settlement Council (Kharkiv Region) the first remote career guidance event was held this academic year, assoc. prof. Eugene Yascheritsin.
It was held with the active support and assistance of the administration of this educational institution and the teacher Maryna Sergiivna Zinovieva. 7 schoolchildren from grades 10-11 took part in the event.
During the event, which lasted almost 30 minutes, the speaker told the audience about various aspects of the past admissions campaign to higher educational institutions in 2024, the advantages of studying at NTU “KhPI”, in particular, and in the specialty 263 “Civil security” educational program “Occupational safety and health” and prospects for employment and career growth.
In addition, he demonstrated the operation of the devices of the educational laboratory of the “Occupational and Environmental Safety” department for measuring the parameters of harmful and dangerous production factors.
These devices were: pyrometer “INFRARED THERMOMETER MestekIR01C” (temperature), luxmeter Yu-116 (measurement of illumination), anemometers (measurement of air speed) – wing digital “ВТМЕТЕР ВТ-816В” and cup “МС-13”, noise meter “Robotron” 00024″ (noise level).
