On December 9 and 10, 2025, the Department of Occupational and environmental safety held the defense of master’s theses for full-time and part-time students majoring in 263 «Civil Security» under the educational program «Occupational Health and Safety».
Eleven applicants took part in the event, including one foreign student (Republic of Azerbaijan). The topics of research covered current issues of occupational safety, civil protection, technological safety, as well as risk management, industrial hazard management, and improving working conditions and safety levels at modern enterprises.
The defense of the qualifying works was organized in accordance with procedural requirements. The State Examination Commission noted the adequate level of preparation of the applicants and the high practical relevance of the presented research.
According to the results of the commission’s work, all 11 students successfully defended their qualification works and confirmed their compliance with the educational and professional competencies defined by the higher education standard for specialty 263 «Civil Security».
