Distance career guidance work in the 2024-2025 academic year has begun!
As part of the career guidance work for the admission of applicants in the coming year 2025 to the specialty 263 “Civil security” educational program “Occupational safety and health” on October 9, 2024 with schoolchildren of the 10th and 11th grades of the Mazhar Lyceum of the Kegychiv Settlement Council (Kharkiv Region) the first remote career guidance event was held this academic year, assoc. prof. Eugene Yascheritsin.

The new 2024/2025 academic year began with the continuation of career guidance work at the Department of Occupational and environmental safety. The formed new plan of career guidance activities will take into account the experience of previous work and is aimed at improving the results of work with applicants. In addition to traditional events (online meeting with school graduates, holding KAHUTs, participation in Open Doors Days), work with foreign applicants was also planned.
During July and September 2024, the Department of Occupational and Environmental Safety held an entrance examination for admission to the master’s degree in the specialty 263 Civil Safety, educational and professional program “Occupational safety and health”. The professional entrance exam was held: July 22 and 28, and September 20 using remote technologies. In total, 13 applicants took part in the exam.
The training of students of the “Occupational Safety and Environmental Safety” department of NTU “KhPI” provides for the possibility of an internship for students of education under the international academic mobility program. So, to date, the student of the MIT-M623 group Elizaveta Sotnikova was invited to Erasmus Student Mobility and is undergoing a scientific internship at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of West Bohemia, Czech Republic, within the framework of the ERASMUS + KA1 program, coordinated by the European Commission.
Within the framework of the project on international academic mobility, namely, the semester academic exchange, the student of the MIT-622 group Lyashko Valeriya Serhiyivna was carried out an internship at the University named after Jan Dlugosha in Częstochowa (Poland) (UYAD) in the period from 03/01/2024 to 05/31/2024. This became possible thanks to the Cooperation Agreement between the University named after Jan Dlugosha in Częstochowa (Poland) (UYAD) and the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” (NTU “KhPI”), within the framework of which the Annex to the Agreement
July 4, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. under the chairmanship of the vice-rector professor R. Mygushchenko a meeting was held regarding the future accreditation. Despite the approaching completion of the 2023/2024 academic year in general educational institutions, the teachers of the department continue active career orientation work regarding the admission of applicants to specialty 263 “Civil security” of the “Occupational safety and health” educational program. One of the events of this work was the holding on 14.06.2024 of assoc. prof. Yascheritsin Eugene distance career guidance event with 11th grade students of Izyum lyceum №10.
As part of the celebration of the Day of Science in Ukraine 📡 and the UNESCO International Day of Light in 2024 for potential entrants and future students of assoc. prof. I. Mezentseva May 14, 2024 an informative and entertaining event Kahoot was held live on the Telegram channel, which was called «High-quality lighting – a guarantee of safety».
Active career guidance work continues for the admission of entrants to specialty 263 “Civil Security” of the “Occupational safety and health” educational program. As part of it, on May 20, assoc. prof. E. Yashcheritsyn a remote career guidance event was held with students of Kharkiv lyceum № 100. It was held with the active support and assistance of the administration of this educational institution and teacher O. Pavlenko. 13 students from the 10th grade took part in the event.
