The SEMIT Department hosted the defense of bachelor’s theses who studied under the educational programs “Software Engineering” and “Computer Science and Intelligent Systems”.
Students majoring in 121 showed in-depth knowledge of software engineering. Their work was devoted to the development of software components for solving optimization problems, recommendation systems that can automate the department’s work processes, and medical information systems.
Students of specialty 122 have demonstrated good skills in creating various intelligent systems: recommendation systems for e-commerce, learning management systems based on blockchain technology, disease recognition based on machine learning, business process management of complex systems, web content optimization based on semantic networks, and other interesting and relevant solutions.
This week, international students of the SEMIT Department also defended their bachelor’s theses. They have demonstrated decent results and even in difficult times have fully mastered the curriculum. This became possible thanks to a convenient distance learning system, which proved to be a great success during the Covid, and now helps students of the department to study from any part of the world.
We congratulate our graduates and wish them successful admission to the master’s program and career achievements!
