– “I wanted to deal with progressive problems. In addition, after Gagarin’s flight, space research was at its peak. Both the founder of the department, Areg Vagharshakovich Dabagyan, and I are experimenters by nature, we are interested in everything new, everything unknown.
Oleksii Vasyliovych is a talented scientist and teacher whose life and aspirations have always been inextricably linked to our university. His research interests include probability theory, econometrics, pedagogy and psychology of higher education, and the development of students’ intellect and creativity. For many years, Oleksii Vasylovych has been teaching a game design course at the university, which contributes to the development of future specialists’ creative abilities and their education.
In addition to his scientific and pedagogical activities, Oleksii has many hobbies: he is fond of history, archeology, numismatics, and antiques. He treats every antique with the utmost care, strives to study its history and make it accessible to a wide audience.
A man of the highest education and deep intellect, a brilliant scientist and talented teacher, Oleksiy Vasylovych has always enjoyed the sincere cherishing and respect of not only from his department colleagues and the CSIT institute, but also the entire staff of NTU “KhPI”.
