On November 17, the Open Door Day and the Science is FUN! Science Festival took place at NTU “KPI” Sports Complex. The event was dedicated to the celebration of World Science Day (UNESCO).
All who attended the event had the opportunity to learn more about the university through the speech of the rector of NTU “KHPI”, Professor Eugene Sokol, presentations from the admission committee on the topics: “Features of the admission campaign and admission conditions 2020” and “Working on mistakes of entrants of previous years” and direct communication with representatives of 43 specialties, 170 educational programs, 5 institutes and 4 faculties, 89 departments.
During the event, presentation stands of institutes, faculties and departments of KPI were held, a panel was held: “Professions of the future” and motivational lectures from graduates of KPI and employers, visitors were able to observe experiments and participate in laboratory-experimental activities master class area, enjoy performances by rock bands: Rebel Yell (Cover-band), VL8 (Rock-band).
Our department also took part in the event. Our representatives communicated with visitors in the presentation area of ​​the faculty and demonstrated examples and results of scientific and practical work of students and teachers in the engineering section.
