From October 15 to November 15, 2024, the head of the department, Professor D. Breslavsky, had a business trip to the Department of Applied Mechanics and Biomechanics of the Cracow University of Technology (Poland). He gave a series of lectures for students studying in bachelor’s and master’s programs on the courses: “Fundamentals of Solid Mechanics”, “Strength of Materials”, “Fatigue Strength of Materials and Structures”, “Finite Element Method in Modern Engineering Applications”, “Computer Modeling in Fracture Mechanics”, “Modern Programming Languages”. A discussion of the scientific results of scientists from both departments was also held and the new joint scientific projects were prepared.
