Today we celebrate not only a national holiday, but also honor the indomitable spirit of our people, their struggle for their own path and dignity. Free and independent Ukraine is 33 years old, and it has been the third year that it has been fighting for its right to statehood, freedom and peace. Our state has gone through many trials, but remains steadfast. Ukrainians are bringing Victory closer together – soldiers and volunteers, industrialists and businessmen, doctors and scientists.
