Lecture by a stakeholder for students of the MIT-624 group

On September 30, 2024, as part of the “Fundamentals of engineering training” program (lecturer assoc. prof. Nataliia Yevtushenko), students of the MIT-624 group were given a lecture on the topic “Engineering competence and practical solutions in the field of occupational health and safety”, which was conducted by the director of the Safety Department and monitoring of LLC “Newton-Promservice” Serhii Mezentsev. During the speech S. Mezentsev drew attention to the importance of labor protection as a key element of safety at enterprises. He shared practical approaches to implementing effective measures to protect the health and life of workers.

Students had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of modern safety monitoring technologies and cooperation with stakeholders to improve the efficiency of processes. Special emphasis was placed on the development of engineering competence, which is the basis for creating a safe production environment.

The lecture was held with the participation of the head of the Department of Occupational Safety and the Environment, professor Sergij Vambol , who emphasized the role of engineering education in the training of qualified specialists in the field of occupational safety.

The event aroused great interest among students, who had the opportunity to learn more about modern challenges and trends in the field of occupational safety.
