Career orientation events in educational institutions of Poltava and Putivlia in December 2024

Active career orientation work continues regarding the admission of applicants in 2025 to specialty 263 “Civil Security” educational program “Occupational safety and health”. So, last week, associate professors Eugene Yascheritsin and Nataliia Movmyga a remote career guidance event was held at the Poltava Higher Interregional Vocational School.
This week, distance career guidance events by associate professor Eugene Yascheritsin were held at the Putivl Lyceum №2 named after G.Ya. Bazima and Poltava Vocational College of Transport Construction.

In the Poltava Higher Interregional Vocational School, the event was held on December 4 with the active support and assistance of the school administration and teacher Viktoria Ivanivna Voytovych, a total of 44 participants took part in it, including 5 teachers of the school.

In the Putivl Lyceum №2 named after G.Ya. Basically, the event was held on December 9 with the help of the deputy director for educational work Olena Anatoliivna Tarasova, 17 students took part in the event.

In the Poltava Vocational College of Transport Construction, the event was held on December 10 with the help of the head of the cycle commission of professional and practical training in the specialty 133 “Industrial mechanical engineering”, teacher of the highest category Dmytro Serhiyovych Tsyplukhin and the head of the department of the above-mentioned college, members of the same commission, teacher of the highest category Iryna Serhiivna let go 25 college students took part in the event.

During these events, each of which lasted almost 30 minutes, the speaker focused the attention of the audience both on various aspects of last year’s admission campaign to higher education institutions in 2024, and on the changes that have taken place in the rules for admission to the latter in the future 2025. At the same time, the speaker paid special attention to highlighting the advantages of studying at NTU “KhPI”, in particular, the specialty 263 “Civil Security” of the educational program “Occupational safety and health” and the prospects for employment and career growth in this profession.

Speaking in front of the students, the speaker organically combined the demonstration of the presentation with information about the specialty with demonstration measurements with the devices of the educational laboratory of the “Occupational and Environmental Safety” department of some parameters of harmful and dangerous production factors, namely, temperature – with a Mestek IR01C pyrometer; illumination – with a Yu-116 lux meter; air movement speed – with the VTMETER VT-816V vane anemometer and the MC-13 cup, production noise – with the Robotron 00024 noise meter.

During the events, their participants showed interest in the process of measuring the levels of production factors, asked questions related to various aspects of education and admission to higher educational institutions, in particular, to specialty 263 “Civil security” at NTU “KhPI”.
